We are glad that you found us online. Holy Cross Lutheran Church, one of the oldest congregations of the Lutheran Church-Canada (LCC) in Winnipeg, has been a continuous presence in Elmwood for more than 100 years - since 1904.

Practicing our faith is always a communal matter. We are a community of believers who love the Lord, who are deeply rooted in Lutheran theology, and who care for our church as well as our neighbours.

Explore our services and ministries. Find out how you can get involved. Join us for worship on Sundays (and other feast days). We offer (closed) Communion on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. There are also opportunities to grow in faith as we study God's Word together in Sunday School, Bible study, and/or Confirmation Class. These are all ways to grow in a deeper understanding of Jesus so that you can better serve your Lord and Saviour on a daily basis.
